OUR PURPOSE
Neighbors of Gresham Park (NGP) is the community association for the Gresham Park neighborhood of DeKalb Co., Georgia. Our purpose is to bring together neighbors who share common goals and want to meet fellow residents, share concerns, offer solutions, foster a strong sense of community, and act as a voice in shaping Gresham's future .
We welcome all residents, regardless of whether they own or rent, as well as representatives from local businesses, schools, and churches, to participate in NGP meetings. Membership is required to vote and participate in committees. When residents, businesses, and other stakeholders work together, through a neighborhood association, the needs of the community can be met in a way that individuals can’t do on their own.
In keeping with our purpose, the executive board members of NGP volunteer their time and effort to support and represent the needs of the neighborhood, as voiced by committed community members with the desire to build a better Gresham Park. NGP board members also organize opportunities for NGP members to participate in conversation with key government officials to discuss the concerns of the community.
Meetings are held every other month, starting with January
